Patricia Covart is a Charter Operations Planner at STM Charters, with more than 25 years of experience in the aviation industry. Patricia works directly with the company’s brokers to confirm operations that are contracted with carriers, ensuring they have correct flight times, preferred aircraft, groundcrew, equipment, and weather/maintenance monitoring. When issues arise, Patricia finds safe solutions to mitigate these challenges and ensure the best experience for STM Charters’ clients.
Her fascination with aviation began as a teenager when she developed an interest in aeronautical engineering. After attending Lone Star College-North Harris, Patricia started her professional career in air charter.
In 1993, Patricia served as Charter Operations Manager in the finance department of Continental Airlines before moving to an in-flight operational. In that role, she worked directly with new hires and flight crew members, planning charter operations for NFL, MLB, NCAA, and other high profile sports clients. She also served in an operations leadership role with Continental’s various independently owned regional airlines, such as Continental Express and Express Jet, until the company merged with United Airlines in 2010.
When she’s not working, Patricia loves spending time with her family and reading. She is a history buff and an animal lover, fostering animals in need whenever possible.
