As Manager of Business Development, Danny Baseheart works across all departments at STM Charters and brings a consultative, high touch, customer-focused approach to the team. Danny contributes to the company’s sales and client relations, remains available and attentive to all client’s travel needs and provides solutions 24/7. He also plays an integral role in the company’s marketing and operational efforts.
Danny’s number one priority is client safety and believes that starts with respecting their privacy. He is passionate about fostering a culture of service and teamwork at STM Charters while providing customer experiences that are consistent, predictable, and authentic.
Danny’s aviation career began in 2005 with the largest business aviation broker in the United States. Over the years, Danny has worked closely with aircraft owners, C-level executives, heads-of-state, celebrities, flight departments, and FAA Flight Standards District Offices to ensure maximum value and safety. He has successfully executed several aircraft management and charter agreements from a Geneva Switzerland based Gulfstream G450 to US-based Bombardier 604 series assets, among others.
His experience includes fleet development, aircraft management, charter sales, and dispatch for boutique certified FAA Part 135 firms holding worldwide operating authority in the New York and South Florida markets. Danny has managed FAA 14 CFR Part 120 Anti-drug programs for crew and maintenance personnel, worked closely with TSA to gain approval to access the Homeland Security Information Network (HSIN) Twelve-Five Standard Security Program (TFSSP), and secured international overflight permits for aircraft, crew, and passengers with the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (USCBP).
Outside of serving his STM Charters clients, Danny spends time camping, hiking and supporting nature conservation, timber management, and reforestation. He enjoys reading and has a special interest in mid-20th century politics and world affairs. Danny is also a collector of antique furniture, art, and military firearms. When he’s not watching old movies with his daughter, you can find him hanging out with his best friend Cody, an Australian cattle dog.
